The food was okay, friendly service.
good local good service and quality food and it shows that they work with a lot of love very good
Nice Spanish restaurant in the narrow Schneider Wibel Gasse. The service and food were good but not stand out. The atmosphere is nice. Unfortunately, boss and some cellars do not hold their mouth nose protection properly in this corona time.
If the outside responsibility is free, I will order and the food will come out immediately. I don't know if it's real Spanish food, but I recommend you to visit because it's easy to drop by. Sangria is cheap.
the best ive eat today
The fish paelle was delicious and available in sufficient quantities. Was great. The rump steak was definitely the poorest quality I've ever been given - a lot of fat, super senig. The chanterelles unfortunately didn't taste like anything. The atmosphere outside is an ingenious narrow street, Spanish restaurant opposite (different menu, same chef). And the service is remarkably good, excellent.
Incorrect menu. I was cheated on paying. Incorrect prices on the menu. For a double dish we need to pay 4 times more.
Perfect service, very nice staff. The food was very tasty. We recommend.
The food is "OK", the amount - without being a barn thrower - at the lower limit. The house wine is almost inedible, the Pinot Gris itself overpriced considering the Düsseldorf area (rental, staff prices, etc.).
Friendly service and delicious food. Unfortunately, not everything was really warm or hot. And the prices are tough (I think).
We ate different tapas and they were all delicious. Fast and very friendly and attentive service. Guest room is clean but very cramped.
Good service. Good ambience. Was allowed to choose a small dish from the lunch menu in the evening. Thank you.
First of all I want to praise the great service. The waitresses were very courteous and asked regularly if everything was OK and we still needed something. The food was no less good and especially affordable at lunchtime.
good food
Very tasty tapas! Large selection. The best are the baby calamari
Event as part of the EuroSHOP .. the space was too small for the number of participants and you could only sit very cramped. The quality of the individual courses was okay, with a paella in a Spanish restaurant I was frankly disappointed .. few seafood and very firm rice! Personally, I would not go there to eat alone.
Amazingly prepared sea food. Excellent service. A must try! Highly recommend it.
Food and service was amazing. Had steak cooked to perfection 😍😍 would definitely recommend x
The kitchen is average. The portions are small. The hall is very small. The toilet stinks and the whole stink goes into the hall. I think that with this attitude to business, they will go broke so soon. And rightly so.
Nice place, delicious food, very kind service, the waitress Carla has been wonderful!
Loved it
Tiny place with great Spanish kitchen
Good service, good food
Very nice restaurant with its own flair. The staff is especially friendly and attentive. We would be well advised, quickly serviced and felt welcome. The food was good. We were recommended the midday card (12-17 clock). I can only pass on this recommendation. Meat and fish dishes at fair prices. In summary, I can recommend the El Flamenco.
Delicious food .. (takes a little longer) funny, friendly waiters who enjoy the work ... portions with a lot of hunger a bit small. Delicious anise brandy as Verdauerle ...
Friendly service, but food completely overpriced and poor quality. Tapas entry plate was ok enough, but hardly any other choices of tapas. Paella had no taste, cheap frozen seafood and the meat platter was completely overcooked. Overall, wouldn't go back...
Nice tapas, inexpensive
Very good restaurant. Very good home. The waiters speak really Spanish. The street of the restaurant overlooks the main street but is 100 meters from the main street, which allows you to eat on the terrace, in peace despite everything. I had a very pleasant time.
Marvellous Argentinian Agnus steak ! House wine also very good. Friendly host. Want to come back for more.
Lovely food
Good food and nice atmosphere.
Great place. Beautiful kitchen. Excellent staff and service. Prices are moderate. In my opinion, it is worth visiting this institution.
Local in the center of typical Spanish Dusseldorf. Excellent meat.
The beautiful streets, the hustle and bustle of life, do not waste this life.
Top
Went there for a steak. Asked for a medium. Was more rare than medium. Also got charged for bread which they put on the table. Not very clean. Would we go again: definitely not!!
Good food & friendly service
Fast read: I don’t recomend to eat here, unless you want to defrosted food, that you could find in any supermarket. The prices are appropiate for the area, but stupidly high for the food being served, and the drinks are unreasonably expensive (22 € for some house wine). The personel is nice though. Slow read: I don’t know why I have expected more from El Flamenco, given that the restaurant is located in the center of Düsseldorf. Looking at the huge variety of options on the menu, I should have expected that there was no way the food would have been freshly prepared. After waiting 40 to 45 minutes for my paella to arrive, I was actually delighted to see it being served in an iron cast skilet, dangerously hot, with everything still sizzeling. After the first bite and a better inspection of the aspect of the food, I realised that the wait was due to the food needing time to defrost. The rib eye steak was very chewy, and bloody although my uncle especially mentioned him wanting it well done. The personelle was nice, with the waiter serving us some espresso, on the house, after we mentioned our impressions on the food.
Good spanish Restaurant with a good service
Racist!!! The WORST Experience!! One of the waiters is very unfriendly. He said rasict words and acted impolitely!! It’s a huge problem. We shouldn’t be treated like that. Hope all Asians never come to this restaurant!
Poor service, expensive food, just a tourist rip-off.
Nice
Fantastic Spanish restaurant right in downtown. Actually hard to be wrong, because this street has Spanish restaurants only. Highly recommend to try the black Angus steaks with a nice Spanish red vines, all of them were great and very delicious. I had some kind of Surf and turf, but only with one king shrimp, but the perfectly cooked 300g steak compensated the small amount of seafood. At the end Crema Catalana is a must. If you brave you can sit outside under the warmer mushrooms.
Love the alley where El Flamenco is located. I’ve tried their paella several times before but this fish and sea food dish is to die for! So good!! Can’t remember the name but it’s been on the menu for a very long time now.
Great food in taste nag generous quantity
Ordered Sangria und bouillabaisse, had to wait a long time, a waiter brought it together. Then asked about the payment and had to wait again a long time. The taste was okay. For sure there are better places.
Been meaning to try out this restaurant and was not disappointed. I expected much higher prices! Had the snails as a starter, the 300 g fillet steak with sides and then the Crema Catalana as dessert. The snails were well prepared. Note: you must specify how you want your steak done - this is written on the menu in German! I asked for mine rare and it was delicious - good quality meat, very fresh. Optimally seasoned. Sides were excellent. Had never tried the dessert before - a light custard with a crush, hints of cinnamon. The service was prompt and attentive, the outside seating was warm and comfortable (I could even snuggle under a blanket) and the Sangria is the best I've had so far - delectable choice of fruit!
Nice location however, tapas and all 4 main dishes were average quality.
Omg the fish we ordered was sooo great! Plenty, tasty and well done! Loved it cant wait to go again!
Terrible service. Didn't even ask how we wanted our steaks done. Had to wait over 40 minutes and the quality wasn't great either.
